Development of Fast Performance Evaluation Algorithm to Optimize the Efficiency of the Cooley-Turkey Fast Fourier Transform Algorithm for Dip

Abstract:
This research was designed to develop a performance evaluation algorithm to optimize the Cooley-Tukey FFT algorithm necessary for the processing of digital signals. The fast numerical algorithm developed in this study is abbreviated with improved C-TNADSP. The methodology adopted in this work was iterative and incremental development design. The major technologies used in this work are the numerical algorithms and the c++ programming technologies and the wave concept technology. The c++ served as a signal processing language simulator (SPLS). In the Improved Cooley-Tuley FFT algorithm, the DSP input is encountered first. It is subjected to some numerical processing which included testing for efficiency on the C++ platform. This test platform provided the basis for comparison leading to the desired Fast Numerical Algorithms for Digital Signal Processing.The improved C-TNADSPwas well investigated and compared across warehouse inputs sufficient enough to generate the required output sequence. Partial replacement of sand by granite powder in concrete

Abstract:
The main objective of Waste Management System is to maximize economic benefits and at the same time to protect the environment. Granite process industry generates a large amount of wastes mainly in the form of powder during sawing and polishing processes, which pollute and damage the environment. This work aims to characterize and evaluate the possibilities of using the granite sawing wastes, generated by the process industries from Salem District, as alternative raw materials in the production of concrete. This granite powder waste can be utilized for the preparation of concrete as partial replacement of sand. In order to explore the possibility of utilizing the granite powder as partial replacement to sand, an experimental investigation has been carried out. The percentages of granite powder added to replace sand by weight were 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25. This attempt has been done due to the exorbitant hike in the price of fine aggregate and its limited availability.

Development of A Robotic Pick-Up Material Handling Arm

Abstract:
The demand for effective mobility that minimizes or eliminates human exposure to hazardous and toxic materials requires the development of a robotic arm. The robotic arm was designed base on an assumption of a maximum carrying capacity of 10kg and an arm length of 0.7m. The motors specification were 3hp stepper motor to drive the base, 736Watt permanent magnet motor to power the actuator and 1Hp for hybrid synchronous motor to drive the gripper. The developed robotic arm has a carrying capacity of 8kg, and could move its materials to a maximum height of 0.9m with an orientation of 180o. The robotic arm has an efficiency of 80%.

Formation of Complete Bipartite Graphs Using Quaternary Complex Hadamard Matrices

Abstract:
A graph G is a complete bipartite graph if its set of vertices could be decomposed into two disjoint sets such that every vertex in first set is joint to all the vertices in second set. In this paper, we proposed an algorithm which can be used to construct complete bipartite graphs using quaternary complex Hadamard matrices. The simplest quaternary complex Hadamard matrix of order 2 is used to obtain those complete bipartite graphs m m K , where n m  2 ; n  ℤ +. This algorithm was tested manually for m  2 , 4 , 8 . Further, higher order complete bipartite graphs were tested using Java program.

Abstract:
The paper presents a comparison between the calculated and measured direct current (DC) resistive circuit using Thevenin method at different DC voltages. A DC voltage (5, 11, and 16 V), breadboard, three resistors (1.11kΩ),wire, and multimeter (PM3) are used for DC power supply, constructed circuit, resistance, jumper wire, and measure voltage and resistance, respectively. The calculatedand measured of Thevenin voltage at different DC voltages increased as DC voltage increased from 4.54 V to 14.54 V, and 4.48 to 14.44 V, respectively. Meanwhile, the measured of Thevenin resistance did not give significant change with the calculated value. The result showed Thevenin voltage increased as the DC voltage increased. The
measuredThevenin voltage and resistance are consistent with the theoretical calculated measurement.
